On the 16th of July 2014, Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Micheal Masutha gave his Budget Vote Speech. The WJP took some statistics from his speech and presented them in a visual form. The speech included topics such as inmate population, improving the remand detention system, health care services, social reintegration, etc. PDF versions of the stats taken from the minister’s speech are available below:
